The Usher Ministry works collectively as a team creating a warm and friendly environment where all those entering New Freedom feel welcomed as we seat congregants in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible. We also meet the needs of the congregation especially those with disabilities during worship service; are on alert for persons who may have a medical crisis; handle large crowds and guests; serve at funerals and special services; serve as guides escorting visitors, and serve in any capacity deemed necessary for the orderly flow of the service.

 

  

ADULT USHERS:  Our Adult Ushers consist of persons over the age of 18 who have the gift of service and hospitality.

YOUTH USHERS:  Our Youth Ushers are a group of dedicated children and youth who serve God by serving their church during worship services and special events. The ministry is comprised of children and youth from nine to eighteen years of age. They usher during the 11:00 a.m. service on Fourth Sundays.
